Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality imaging within CT and X-ray modalities, ensuring accurate and detailed images for interpretation.
- Effectively explain procedures to patients, maintaining their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
- Produce images aligned with the request of licensed practitioners for diagnostic purposes.
- Adhere to safety and radiation protocols, including proper badge management.
- Flexibility to float within scope and assist with related units as needed, ensuring coverage during assigned shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
- Valid radiation badge (agency-provided).
- BLS certification.
- 2+ years of radiologic imaging experience preferred.
- Must be able to work night shifts and be available for every 3rd weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with trauma, pediatric, orthopedic, and emergency imaging.
- Familiarity with Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS systems.
- Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center is a plus.
