Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality imaging procedures in CT and X-ray modalities.
• Effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and understanding.
• Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Maintain safety and radiation protocols according to facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C).
• Current certification with SCRQSA.
• BLS certification.
• 2+ years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging.
• Must have or be able to obtain and wear a radiation badge provided by the agency.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts, including every 3rd weekend.
• High competency in imaging procedures and patient communication.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatric, or orthopedic imaging.
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment, EPIC, and PACS systems.
• Previous experience in a Level Trauma or Teaching Hospital setting.

Additional Notes

• On-call responsibilities required.
• Travel radius: 60 miles; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate.
• Guaranteed hours with flexibility for one shift off per two weeks.
• Parking available for nights and weekends at a one-time fee of $20.
• During hurricane season (June–November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
