Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts (7 PM – 7:30 AM), approximately 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a 24/7 stand-alone emergency department serving local communities
- Manage a patient load with ratios of 6:1 for boarders and 4:1 for ED patients
- Collaborate with medical team to deliver high-quality, timely emergency services
- Document patient assessments and care plans using EPIC electronic charting system
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed, with guaranteed hours allowing for scheduling flexibility
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and professional standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIH, TNCCT optional but preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible schedule as approved by management
- First-time travelers accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a trauma or acute care environment
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs if required (not mandatory)
