Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital emergency department setting.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately using EPIC electronic charting system.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and critical situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols for trauma and emergency care.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
• Valid RN license for South Carolina or multi-state/compact licensure.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCCT via American Heart Association.
• Ability to work 3x12 hour night shifts (7PM - 7:30AM).
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Experience working in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience at trauma level facilities is a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs if required.

Additional Details

• Shift: 3 night 12-hour shifts per week, 7PM-7:30AM.
• No on-call required.
• No floating between units or facilities.
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted, with a case-by-case basis for remote candidates at a reduced rate.
• RTO requests must be included at the time of submission and approved based on needs.
• Guaranteed hours with some flexibility for call-offs.
• Uniform: Solid royal blue or white tops with royal blue bottoms.
• Charting System: EPIC.
