• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 36 hours/week, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
• Manage a patient load with a ratio of 4:1 on ED patients and 6:1 for boarders.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic charting system.
• Participate in on-site emergency protocols and support a trauma level-appropriate environment (Trauma Level N/A).
• No call responsibilities; float within scope not required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience.
• Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, TNCCT (American Heart Association preferred).
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a stand-alone emergency department.
• Comfortable with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Flexible scheduling with manager approval for block shifts.

• Facility allows one shift off per two weeks.
