Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients in the Operating Room, including circulating and scrubbing duties when applicable.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during various surgical procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques, hospital protocols, and patient safety standards.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
• Document all procedures accurately using Cerner charting system.
• Float within scope to support different units as needed, including trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, ENT, and other specialties.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Indiana RN license in hand.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of OR nursing experience, including trauma Level I experience.
• Circulating nurse experience required; scrub experience preferred.
• Willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays and participate in on-call shifts as scheduled.
• Ability to work well-rounded shifts across various surgical specialties.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Recent experience in Level I trauma settings.
• Flexibility to float across different perioperative units.
