Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including remote telemonitoring when applicable.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Ability to pass a required EKG exam.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with charge nurse responsibilities.
- Telemetry or remote monitoring experience.
- Flexibility to float across multiple units within the facility.
