Schedule / Job Type:

Full-time, nights shift, on-call as needed, weekends required, travel flexibility to assist in various units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care to MedSurg patients of all ages, including medication management.
• Utilize equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Hill-rom beds, Kangaroo pumps, and quadramed Pyxis.
• Assist in multiple units including ER, postpartum, and step-down units, primarily supporting staff without direct patient load.
• Participate in orientation, training, and shadow shifts to ensure compliance with unit protocols.
• Support emergent situations with fluctuating nurse-patient ratios, occasionally up to 1:6.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Valid BLS certification required; PALS certification within the required timeframe.
• Ability to manage diverse patient needs across age groups and assist in multiple departments.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in various units such as ER, postpartum, and step-down units.
• Comfortable working in a flexible schedule with on-call responsibilities.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and team needs.
