Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery for neonates and postpartum patients.
• Monitor and assess infant vital signs and condition, implementing care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records using EPIC.
• Floats within scope to postpartum or pediatric units as needed, supporting facility needs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including weekend rotations and on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri or eligible to obtain.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in NICU or similar neonatal units.
• EPIC electronic charting experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a Level 2 NICU or Special Care Nursery.
• Postpartum experience highly valued but not mandatory.
• Pediatric care experience a plus.
• Ability to float within postpartum or pediatric units based on skills.
