Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care and therapy to patients in a hospital setting, with a focus on neonatal and pediatric units.
- Manage and operate advanced ventilation equipment, including Servo I, Servo U, and Hamilton G5.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with medical teams in NICU, PICU, and pediatric units to develop patient care plans.
- Float between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units as needed, ensuring continuous patient support and care.
- Follow all certification and licensure requirements to ensure compliance and safe practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana State License for Respiratory Therapy.
- NBRC RT certification in hand at submission.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 18 months recent NICU or PICU experience.
- Experience with neonatal and pediatric ventilation, including servo systems and vent management.
- Must have L&D experience if placed in L&D (client-dependent).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification (preferred for L&D assignments).
- Experience with neonatal and pediatric ventilators and critical care equipment.
- Ability to float across NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed.
