Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and receive pump lines from perfusion for cannulation procedures.
- Assist in various cardiac and vascular surgeries, including aneurysm repairs, valve replacements, and transplants.
- Support surgical teams during complex cardiac, thoracic, and endovascular procedures.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and sterile for surgeries.
- Provide perioperative assistance in accordance with hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of vascular, thoracic, or cardiac surgical experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Certification in BCLS and NBSTSA.
- Experience receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing for cannulation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced surgical procedures such as EVAR, TAVR, VAD, and heart or lung transplant.
- Ability to work night shifts reliably.
- Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques.
