Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in a busy acute care hospital setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition promptly.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Float between ICU units and possibly to related units as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license.
- Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
- Ability to work weekends, with a minimum of every other weekend scheduled.
- Experience in acute care hospitals preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous float pool experience.
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling at the manager’s discretion.
