Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13 to 26-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including dysrhythmia management and non-invasive airway protocols
• Administer and monitor IV drips, blood products, and manage central lines
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols to ensure safety
• Utilize electronic charting systems such as EPIC for documentation
• Participate in rapid response team activation and emergency protocols
• Float to similar units and alternate care sites as needed, including main campus

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience, with preferred MS/Ortho background
• Current RN license
• Management of dysrhythmias and oxygen therapy protocol experience
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and managing drips
• Central line care and management, blood products administration
• Previous traveler experience and understanding of unit management

• Live 70+ miles from the facility; candidate must include permanent address in profile
• No call-offs or additional RTO permitted; possible cancellation if violated

• Contract staff may be preassigned to units during emergencies or catastrophic events
