Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans across adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations.
  • Ensure patient safety by following strict isolation precautions and preparing/administering contrast media as needed.
  • Operate Siemens Aera 1.5T MRI equipment and document procedures accurately using Pyxis, EPIC, and Visage PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with medical team to support general studies, MSK, neuro, breast, body, and specialized MRI procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including radiation safety and contrast media administration.
  • Complete 72 hours of unit orientation and adhere to scheduled shifts, including call and weekend requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
  • ARRT MR certification.
  • State licensure (if applicable).
  • Experience with adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/Trauma, pediatric imaging preferred.
  • Knowledge of contrast administration, IV start, and infection control protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Advanced MRI techniques including MR Cardiac, MRA, MRV, perfusion, and special imaging procedures.
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS, ARMRIT.
  • Management or lead experience, radiation safety expertise.
  • Familiarity with Siemens systems and imaging post-processing.

Additional Notes

  • Shifts are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with no out-of-unit work or RTO allowed after booking.
  • Travelers should be fully available for start date flexibility based on schedule and training needs.
  • Candidates must complete 72 hours of orientation on site before beginning regular shifts.
  • Interview availability should be provided promptly to facilitate scheduling.
