Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, contract (option of 36 or 48 hours/week), no first-time travelers
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document care using the Epic electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to patient needs and ensure safety and comfort during night shifts.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including Prisma Health floating policies.
- Ensure all certifications and licenses are current and meet facility requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Valid SC or multistate RN license.
- At least 1 year of recent Epic electronic health record experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous RN experience in a hospital setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed, with demonstrated competencies.
