Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients following proper procedures
- Label and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Maintain proper documentation of all blood draws and patient interactions
- Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times
- Assist with specimen transportation and storage as needed
- Assist with general patient care and support clinical staff
Required Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification required
- Ability to work multiple shifts, including nights starting at 21:30
- Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to handle high-volume specimen collection
