Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour Night shifts, 13 to 26 week contracts
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring proper care and safety
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias; activate rapid response teams as needed
- Administer oxygen therapy, manage airway protocols, and care for peripheral lines
- Follow isolation precautions and utilize PPE appropriately
- Document patient care using electronic health records (EPIC)
- Float to similar units and alternate care locations within the facility, including the main campus 15 minutes away
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in MS/Ortho
- Management of dysrhythmias and oxygen protocol knowledge
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start
- Must reside at least 70 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of IV drips
- Central line care and blood product administration
- MS/Ortho experience
