Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, contract (option for 48 or 36 hours per week), nights only
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Chart patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Float to different units as needed, performing duties for which competencies are documented and approved.
Required Qualifications
- Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Active South Carolina or multistate RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different hospital units based on floating policy.
