Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records to determine exam appropriateness.
• Interview patients to obtain or update medical histories, assess risk factors, and explain procedures, including potential side effects and post-care instructions.
• Set up equipment and acquire quality images as per physician’s orders.
• Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate findings to radiologists.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient care and workflow.
• Provide imaging education to residents, students, and new team members.
• Take call/standby duties as required by the department.
• May perform general radiologic technologist duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiology (must be attached to submission).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must be attached).
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT and Radiology.
• Ability to work independently and handle GE CT and X-ray machines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital or community healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment.
• Strong patient communication skills.
