Travel, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal patients in a busy maternal-infant unit.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum patient care.
- Monitor fetal health using GE fetal monitors and ensure maternal well-being through continuous assessment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members including nursery nurses, OB techs, and physicians to deliver quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system and adhere to hospital protocols.
- Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
- Experience with high-volume LDRP units preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous employment in a high-volume delivery center with extensive obstetric procedures.
- Knowledge of both vaginal and cesarean delivery processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
