Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Float to different units as needed, including working with dementia patients.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient status accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Work every other weekend, including holiday coverage for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license on file at the time of placement.
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Prior experience in LTC/SNF settings.
• Willing to float to other units as needed and work with dementia patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation, with a personal or rental vehicle equipped for seasonal conditions.
• Ability to work scheduled hours without unplanned absences.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and facility operations.

Additional Information

• Travel rate: $90/hour; local rate: $80/hour within 50 miles or less; distance measured by straight line.
• Travelers must start within the next two weeks.
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
• Complete employment history, including bed count, EMR system, and facility type, required for submission.
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended; snow tires advised during November–April.
• Clear communication of preplanned time off upfront required; requests during assignment will not be accommodated.
