• Full-time, temporary, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Perform advanced diagnostic vascular and cardiac exams using echo, ultrasound, and Doppler equipment.
• Conduct ultrasound procedures on cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to aid in diagnosing circulatory disorders.
• Assist physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needle localization procedures as needed.
• Record, maintain, and interpret test data, preparing preliminary reports.
• Perform routine ultrasound procedures for abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN, and other vascular studies depending on departmental needs.
• Support therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression.

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1-2 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room vascular cases.
• Ability to perform both diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.

Work Schedule
• Days, with shifts varying between 8, 10, and 12 hours, primarily 12-hour shifts.
• Typical hours range from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Additional Information
• Must have own transportation for on-call requirements and floating between two campuses.
• Weekend shifts required.
• Department handles approximately 10-15 cases daily.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available.
