Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure all procedures and documentation comply with hospital standards and safety protocols
- Assist in patient education regarding respiratory health and treatment plans
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper sterilization and functionality
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Proven experience in a hospital or clinical environment as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital recognized for high-quality care
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art respiratory technology and procedures
