Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
- Work a flexible schedule, including every other weekend and holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day).
- Float to other units as needed, including dementia care units, ensuring continuity of patient care.
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain compliance with all clinical standards.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including detailed employment history and facility information.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN in a LTC/SNF environment.
- BLS certification through AHA.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to float between units and comfortably work with dementia patients.
- Reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires for winter months.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with geriatric populations and dementia patients.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Willingness to work on short-term travel assignments and adapt to different clinical environments.
