Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive circulating and scrub nurse support during surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Attend to orthopedic and gynecological cases with expertise.
- Participate in self-scheduling and coordinate calls on a rotating basis, including every third weekend and occasional weekday call as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and procedural protocols in the OR environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care activities.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to promote efficient and effective patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Prior experience in orthopedics and gynecology surgery
- Knowledge of OR protocols and sterile techniques
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous circulating and scrub nurse experience in the operating room
- Ability to self-schedule and adapt to call requirements
- Experience working in fast-paced surgical settings
