- Full-time, travel, day shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the postpartum period.
- Educate new mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in maternal-child or postpartum care.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Ability to work the scheduled shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
