Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical assistance in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- Support surgical teams with instrumentation, supplies, and patient care during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operation of surgeries.
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical experience, preferably in CVOR.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
- Valid state licensure or certification as required.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel surgical tech experience.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular surgeries and equipment.
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and operating room protocols.
