Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients across various age groups with diverse diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes, including setting goals and recording progress.
• Supervise and collaborate with support staff, students, or interns to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, activity programs, and equipment to promote independence and recovery.
• Communicate with healthcare team members, including referring providers, to coordinate care and review patient progress.
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient responses in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications
• Active Alaska Physical Therapist License (must be current at submission)
• Must have current Flu vaccination
• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program (master’s or doctorate level)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehab settings
• Knowledge of medical equipment fitting and supply management
• Familiarity with billing procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers
