Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-risk perinatal ultrasound examinations, including anatomy, Dopplers, transvaginal scans, and AIUM-accredited procedures.
- Operate Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS 85 Prestige ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality imaging for OB/GYN and high-risk obstetrics patients.
- Document and report imaging results accurately, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with medical team to assist with outpatient OB/GYN and high-risk obstetrics cases.
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards and safely handle equipment.
- Float as needed to additional locations, including occasional weekend shifts, with minimal call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience, with OB/GYN and high-risk obstetrics expertise.
- Valid RDMS certification in OB/GYN, with MFM experience preferred.
- Proficiency in PACS systems and outpatient ultrasound procedures.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to pass Pass/Fail EKG exam mandated for all personnel with regard to hospital requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in teaching hospital environments.
- Familiarity with amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and other high-risk OB procedures.
- Outpatient and emergency department ultrasound experience.
