Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a specialized intermediate care / progressive stepdown unit.
• Monitor and manage patients with complex needs, including postoperative and transplant patients.
• Administer medications, including Heparin drips and PCA infusions.
• Perform wound and drain care, including wound vacs and chest tubes.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
• 2+ years of acute care, Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience.
• Experience with Heparin infusions and PCA management.
• Ability to work the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Reliable, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stepdown or PCU experience, particularly with transplant patients (kidney, liver, or pancreas).
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
• Experience with wound care procedures, including using wound vacs and managing chest drains.
