Registered Nurse Operating Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Operating Room
- Charleston, SC
- Full-time, days shift
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy Level I trauma center.
- Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics.
- Circulate and scrub in the operating room to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, nurse-driven environment.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations, typically working up to one weekend shift every four weeks, including holidays.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Radiation badge (to be provided by agency).
- Experience in scrub assisting in surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
- Experience working in a Level I trauma or academic medical environment.
