Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location: Hilo, HI
Schedule / Job Type: Night shift, 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts), 15-week contract, no guarantee of hours, onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous airway management for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Support and manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Collaborate with physicians and provide comprehensive respiratory care including CPR and all related procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, and ventilators including PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.

Required Qualifications:

• Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License (must be obtained prior to start).
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience caring for multiple patient populations (adult, pediatric, neonatal).
• Ability to care for diverse patient needs; no first-time assignments accepted.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
