Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to adult patients in IMC, PCU, and stepdown units.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience working in intermediate, progressive, or stepdown care units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units within the past year.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Details
- Unit Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
- Worksite: Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC
- Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
- Start Date: 09/22/2025
- Work Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Weekend requirements: minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- No call required; holiday work flexibility
Note: This is a travel RN position requiring night shifts at a prominent hospital known for intensive and progressive care.
