Ideal Hire is seeking a full-time, innovative, and motivated clinician to serve as the Supervisor for a Children’s Residential Program. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations within a residential treatment facility dedicated to providing care and support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Developmental Disabilities/Intellectual Disabilities (DD/ID). This role includes supervising clinicians and case managers, completing ADOS assessments in an outpatient BHSO, ensuring compliance with documentation standards, upholding HIPAA regulations, and adhering to governing body requirements. The Clinical Supervisor/BHSO Clinician will promote best practices in therapeutic interventions and contribute to the overall treatment goals of the organization.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

Supervisory Duties

  • Supervise and support a team of clinicians and case managers, providing guidance and mentorship.

  • Conduct regular clinical supervision meetings to evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.

  • Coordinate staff schedules and manage daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Facilitate team meetings to review cases, treatment planning, and ongoing staff training needs.

Clinical Duties

  • Maintain a small caseload of clients in the outpatient practice, conducting ADOS assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

  • Monitor client progress and outcomes through regular assessments and documentation.

  • Provide direct services and crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.

  • Obtain certification in the ADOS assessment and provide diagnostic testing for individuals to assess Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with facility policies and governing body regulations.

  • Maintain knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards to protect client information.

  • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and best practices.

  • Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

  • Ensure psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation meet regulatory requirements, utilizing the EMR to add or edit documentation as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Implement training programs for staff on best practices related to ASD, DD/ID, and behavioral health interventions.

  • Serve as a liaison between the residential facility and external stakeholders, including families, referral sources, and community resources.

  • Stay current with research and trends in developmental disabilities and psychological treatment to inform program development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

  • Independently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Psychologist, or equivalent licensure.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting.

  • Experience working with children with ASD and DD/ID preferred. ADOS certification preferred but not required.

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance.
