- Travel, 13-week duration, night shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and blood/marrow transplant patients.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage neutropenic fever protocols.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate patient-centered care.
- Follow unit policies and guidelines, including use of advanced equipment like Alaris Pumps.
- Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in oncology or ICU.
- BMT ICU experience strongly preferred.
- ACLS certification required.
- Ability to perform chemotherapy administration and neutropenic protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemotherapy certification.
- BMTCN and/or OCN certification.
- Experience with blood and marrow transplant units and related procedures.
