Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehab and acute care patients.
• Provide occupational therapy treatments to patients in a hospital setting, including those in orthopedics, telehealth, and ICU units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and documentation.
• Float across various units as needed, maintaining flexibility to meet patient care demands.
• Adhere to facility policies, including dress code, attendance, and hygiene standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active OT license in Texas.
• Inpatient rehabilitation and acute hospital experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to float across units and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital settings.
• Certification in NDT or brain injury rehabilitation.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
