Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Monitor patient health and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities and medication administration.
- Follow care plans and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Proven experience working in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced nursing home or skilled nursing facility.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus.
