Full-time, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Communicate pertinent information to physicians, nurse practitioners, or other healthcare providers.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide specialized care such as gastrostomy tube management, urinary catheter care, wound vac care, and tracheostomy care.
- Administer nebulized treatments, CPAP therapy, and other procedures as assigned.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges in accordance with facility protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii Registered Nurse license (or ability to obtain prior to assignment start).
- Current CPR certification and additional applicable credentials preferred.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and demonstrate clinical competency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Familiarity with advanced wound care, ventilator management, and tracheostomy care.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
