Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital
- Manage post-operative care, blood administration, and wound vac management, including ortho trauma cases
- Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility to meet patient care demands
- Adhere to hospital dress code for licensed and unlicensed staff
- Support patient safety and ensure compliance with unit standards during 26-week travel assignment
- Participate in scheduled weekend shifts and respond to periodic on-call requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units, including trauma care
- Knowledge of post-op management, blood administration, and wound care procedures
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating between units
- Willingness to commit to a 26-week contract extending into May
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with trauma protocols and post-surgical patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, acute care environment
