Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts / Contract (option of 36 or 48 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical unit patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document findings accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient care procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in South Carolina or valid multistate license.
- Active AHA BLS certification.
- Active NIHSS certification.
- At least 1 year of Epic electronic medical record experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting, specifically in medical-surgical units.
- Familiarity with Prisma Health policies and procedures.
- Comfortable floating to different units as needed, in line with competencies and policies.
