Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound services across multiple modalities, including abdominal, Ob/Gyn, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts.
- Review patient clinical history to determine examination purpose and tailor procedures accordingly.
- Frame clinical questions to guide the ultrasound examination and expand procedures as needed for thorough diagnostics.
- Ensure quality imaging and accurate documentation of findings.
- Follow departmental protocols and safety procedures during all procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on ultrasound experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Certification/licenses in two of the following:
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS)
- ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S)
- ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI)
- Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSK)
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sono-Abdomen (RDMS-AB)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sono-Breast (RDMS-BR)
- Fetal Echocardiography (RDMS-FE)
- OB/GYN Sono (RDMS-OB)
- Pediatric Sonography (RDMS-PS)
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
- Registered Vascular Tech (RVT)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing multi-modality ultrasound procedures in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
