Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac patient conditions.
- Administer potent non-titratable IV drips and care for respiratory patients, including those with trachs, Bipap, and Airvo.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms.
- Proficiency in managing respiratory patients and non-titratable IV drips.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in telemetry, TCU, or stepdown units.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
- Strong communication and feedback-oriented personality.
