Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, Night shifts (3x12's / 36 Hours per week, every other weekend)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to ICU patients with a focus on multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID-19, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure.
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records system for documentation and patient management.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV starts and continual glucose monitoring.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical ICU setting.
• Proven EPIC electronic health records experience.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and AHA certifications.
• Proficiency in IV placement and telemetry monitoring.
• Competency with ventilators and critical care procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Familiarity with NxStage CRRT and externalized IV pumps.
• Knowledge of specialized equipment such as GE Ventilators and monitors.
• Experience with complex cases including multisystem organ failure and COVID-19 patients.
