Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient education regarding test preparations, appointment scheduling, and directional information.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries, addressing questions and concerns.
- Obtain prior authorizations and process surgery referral requests.
- Confirm pre-surgical medical clearances and ensure results are received before procedures.
- Review patient consents and coordinate pre-op and post-op appointments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 3+ years of outpatient or ambulatory care nursing experience.
- Epic electronic health record system experience.
- Ability to work day shifts (7:45 AM – 5:00 PM).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in reconstructive surgery outpatient clinics.
- Comfort with handling patient communications and coordinating clinical procedures.
