Job Title

- Travel, Night shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on respiratory disorders.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy.
- Maintain high standards of specialized care for patients with lung diseases or injuries.
- Document patient care using Meditech electronic medical records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code and shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a Compact state (no temporary licenses).
- Current BLS or Red Cross certification through AHA.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty area, or 18 months with high-level licensure.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a telemetry or pulmonary unit.
- Strong respiratory care skills and knowledge of general medicine.
