Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license or license from a compact state.
- Minimum of 18 months of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to recognize and respond to ECG rhythms accurately.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital-based med/surg telemetry experience.
- Experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays.
