Registered Nurse
Location: Akron, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Day shift, full-time, 3 -12 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, initiate treatment plans, and document care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio license or current Compact State license.
- Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work day shifts with flexible scheduling.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting, specifically in Med/Surg Telemetry units.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
