Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the observation unit
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient assessments and care activities accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and post-discharge instructions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Prior experience in patient observation or acute care settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital or similar clinical environment
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred
