Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour days, rotating weekends and holidays, contract commitment with guaranteed hours of 72 per biweekly period
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with neurological, orthopedic, respiratory, renal, and cardiac conditions
- Interpret and read cardiac strips independently, as the unit does not have telemetry techs
- Complete and pass specific dysrhythmia and medication testing via Zoom prior to assignment
- Monitor patients on telemetry and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
- Minimum of 2+ years recent experience in acute Medical-Surgical with Telemetry nursing
- Current CPR certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience required; proficiency with Epic platform necessary
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience interpreting EKG strips and telemetry monitoring independently
- Previous experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Notes
- Recent acute care experience with telemetry required
- Local travelers not accepted (must reside beyond 50 miles from the facility)
- All candidates must complete mandatory testing within one week of confirmation, achieving at least 85% on dysrhythmia and medication assessments before placement
- No re-sits or remediation opportunities; preparation is recommended using provided study guides
- No tele-techs on this unit; all RNs must interpret their own strips and ready their own documentation
- Previous employment with the facility or affiliated health systems within the last six months disqualifies candidates from consideration
