Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, Travel assignment, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with moderate acuity
- Monitor and assess patients using telemetry equipment; respond to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Sunrise)
- Ensure safety and comfort of patients while maintaining compliance with hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (required for consideration)
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Ability to work night shifts and facilitate flexible staffing needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bariatric patient experience
- Cardiac patient care experience
